Hearth

Hearth

Hearth was named one of Canada’s top 100 restaurants in 2020 with its showcase of Saskatchewan ingredients and cosy cocktail bar. Not only did they rank top 100 in 2020 at 85th, but they improved their repertoire in 2022 placing 62nd in the country, making it the best restaurant in Saskatoon hands down.

Their new location is located in Remai Modern Art Museum, one of the top rated things to do in Saskatoon. Hearths brings new life into classic Prairie dishes like their liver & onions that comes with a green tomato chutney and incredible spicy pierogi pasta main.

Odd Couple

Odd Couple Restaurant

Odd Couple is a Canadian-Asian restaurant that ranks first on TripAdvisor for food in Saskatoon for its Asian fusion dishes that make you think. This place is a massive step up from the average whitewashed Asian restaurant you find across the country. Odd Couple showcases local ingredients with modern viewpoints and Chinese techniques.

Our favourites were the Diefenbaker Lake trout with lime and cilantro sauce and pork Thai basil stir-fry.

Primal Pasta

Primal Pasta

Award-winning Primal Pasta is not only the go-to Italian restaurant in Saskatoon, but it might be the best in the province as well. Try the bone marrow for something truly indulgent and the flourless chocolate torte for dessert.

Treat your taste buds to something special at Primal Pasta, a restaurant boasting an experienced staff of international chefs who have crafted breathtakingly original takes on traditional pasta fare. Tuesdays are the perfect time to visit because of their amazing Pasta & Wine special for only $30!

Sticks and Stones

Sticks & Stones

Sticks & Stones is another restaurant by Dale McKay to make our list and for good reason. Sticks & Stones is an Asian fusion restaurant, serving up hot bowls of ramen, pork belly steamed buns and sashimi. The menu is short and to the point, which I really appreciate because I’m indecisive when it comes to ordering food.

Odla and Farm One Forty

Odla Farm

Odla is part restaurant, part farm and 100% goodness. Although farm to table isn’t a new concept, Odla executes it extremely well and you’ll be blown away by the fresh ingredients. Try the beef tartare, gnocchi and the pan seared pickerel.
